PAD A CHEEK mask liners are designed to prevent contact dermatitis from the mask pad. The mask liner should also help prevent mask pad marks. The moisture-wicking material absorbs oil and sweat, extending the pad's lifespan. Many people have reported that they also reduce leakage. The mask liner wraps securely around the mask and is designed to stay in place whenever you remove the mask at night or in the morning. A nose bridge pad is sewn into the mask liner to help prevent redness in that area. Optional triangular pads are also included in the package; these can be placed in the pocket of the mask liner. (If you're concerned about them slipping, you can stitch them with a needle and thread.) Generally, the opening for your nose and mouth is smaller than necessary.
This is because some of our customers like to have the fabric over their mouth to remind them to breathe only through their nose. If you want to enlarge the opening, cut small slits at the edge of the hole and try it on. If it's not big enough, make the slits a little deeper and try again. Repeat this process until the hole is the right size for you, then remove the mask lining and cut the fabric between the slits.
Next, take the mask liner and place it on a piece of paper. Draw the size of the hole you envisioned so that the next time you order one, you'll know what size to make it. The hole is really easy to make too big, so take your time. Washable and reusable, these mask liners will last for more than 6 months. Some of our customers have been using them for over 2 years. The Mask Liner Full Face D fits: ResMed AirFit F10, ResMed AirFit F20, ResMed Air Touch F20. This mask liner is not suitable for the AirFit F30 mask. Available in gray only.
